I am a scientist specialized in computational modeling and analysis of atmospheric chemistry and air quality.

During my graduate schools in Peking University and Georgia Tech, I spent eight years studying air quality in China, from sources of particulate matter (PM) to ozone chemistry and emissions of its precursors, by analyzing data from satellites, ground sites, aircraft with statistical methods and numerical models.

My two and half years of postdoc at the Combustion Research Facility of Sandia National Laboratories is nothing less than an adventure. I learned to collaborate with incredibly intelligent people with various backgrounds on incredibly challenging problems. I learned how to write a Markov Chain Monte Carlo sampler for statistical inference.

After leaving Sandia, I worked for three years as a senior consultant at Ramboll, where I got involved in a large variety of air quality consulting and research projects around the world.

I worked for the California Air Resources Board in 2018 - 2023.

I joined the Environmental Protection Agency as a Physical Scientist in 2024.
